The MP for Tiverton and Honiton is calling on the Government to protect funding for flood defences in the South West, in the wake of the devastating flooding in North-West England.
Neil Parish is concerned that the budget for flood prevention is 14 % lower than the last financial year.
He says he will be raising the matter with the Secretary of State early in the New Year.
