
Record results for Exeter College
Students across Devon and Cornwall are celebrating their A-Level, T-Level, and BTEC National results.
Nationally, a record number of students got into their first-choice universities, and boys outperformed girls for the first time in seven years.
Locally, Queen Elizabeth's School in Crediton saw 27% of their entries awarded A* or A grades, and 79% achieved a C grade or above.
Exeter College is also celebrating a double triumph – both for its outstanding results that surpass the national average and for being named one of only ten Construction Technical Excellence colleges in the country.
An impressive 23 subjects achieved a flawless 100% pass rate.
Radio Exe's Honey Forty achieved three A*s and an A and will head to the University of Exeter to study Communications, while Adam Daley from Dartington is off to the University of Manchester for Maths and Physics.
Jessica Fry studied a T-level in Health to develop her knowledge and support her university application, gaining practical experience alongside theory and exams, and is now off to study Paramedic Science at university.
