Police have been given extra powers to tackle street drinking and other anti-social behaviour in Exeter city centre. .
A new dispersal order gives them the power to move on groups of two or more people.
It came into force yesterday and will run for six months, covering the area from Sidwell Street to Fore Street, including Northernhay Gardens.
