People across Devon are being urged to do all they can to minimise the amount of food they throw away this Christmas
The advice is to be organised and plan meals in advance, store food correctly and freeze leftovers when possible.
The latest figures show Devon is one of the top performing counties in the country when it comes to recycling, with less than half the waste now being sent to landfill.
