The arrest resulted in multiple charges
A driver who crashed his work van into a grade II listed building in Exeter, before running away, has been charged with multiple offences.
The incident happened yesterday evening (Wednesday 20th October) on Bartholomew Street.
According to locals, the crash was so loud that 'it work everyone who lived on the street up.'
Writing on Twitter PC Naomi Cox, who shared the photo, said: "This arrest resulted in multiple charges for: aggravated TWOC (Taking of a motor vehicle without consent), failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving whilst unfit through alcohol and driving without insurance."
