It happened at the junction between the A30 and M5
A driver is in a critical condition after a crash near Exeter yesterday [22 June].
It happened just before 11.30am on the A30 Westbound slip from the M5.
Officers say they believe it was a multi-vehicle collision involving a Citroen DS3 and a Nissan Qashqai. The Citroen driver was taken to the RD&E hospital, with their injuries said to be critical.
The A30 westbound off-slip from the M5 southbound carriageway remained closed while a forensic examination of the scene was conducted. The road fully reopened at around 3.30pm.
Officers from the Exeter Roads Policing Unit and Serious Collision Investigation Team are appealing for witnesses to come forward quoting log number 0366 of 22/06/19.
