The number of complaints about nuisance drones in Devon and Cornwall has nearly tripled in a year.
Police in Devon and Cornwall dealt with 110 reports in 2016, compared with just over 41 the year before and just 6 in 2014.
Reported incidents included a near miss between a drone and a passenger plane carrying 62 people in Newquay last summer.
Police forces across the UK saw a sharp rise in complaints of drone use, Sussex Police came top with 240 last year, followed by Greater Manchester with 225 incidents.
