A mammoth 13,000 miles walked already just six days into campaign
Just six days into the Big Devon March, an annual campaign run by Active Devon, more than 26 million steps have been logged inside an action packed opening week.
Throughout the month of March businesses across Devon are walking their socks off to get employees fitter and healthier. Last year, combined, the businesses walked 24 thousand miles, the equivalent of walking the circumference of the earth.
Last years winner, who walked a total of 3,000 miles, was Exeter College. This years current table toppers WSP Exeter, a local supply store, are leading the way with a more than 100 thousand steps.
