An online memorial to First World War soldiers and their families in East Devon towns and villages is being launched today.
Local historians and volunteer teams have worked to compile the information on the 1914 generation living in communities including Budleigh Salterton, Newton Poppleford and Otterton.
It includes the wartime diary of a soldier ... and the stories of some of the women who nursed injured servicemen.
