An 88-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital following a crash between Barnstaple and Bideford.
Police were called to the A39 at around 1.10pm on Tuesday 28 January to a collision involving a Mitsubishi L200, a Ford Mondeo and a Fiat Ducato ownded by South West Ambulance Trust.
As a result of the collision, the elderly man sustained serious injuries as was taken by helicopter to Derriford Hospital.
The drivers of the two other vehicles suffered minor injuries.
Emergency services closed the road whilst the incident was dealt with - it didn't reopen until after 9pm.
