North Devon crash
An 83 year old man is in a serious condition following a crash in North Devon on Thursday night.
Police were called at around 6pm to the collision on the A361 in Barnstaple.
It's reported a Black VW Golf driven by a 38-year-old man hit the elderly pedestrian whose injuries are said to be life threatening.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
