John Salvatore plays for the Exeter Strollers
An Exeter walking footballer has gained international recognition, after being called up to the England over-70s walking football team.
John Salvatore, who plays for the Exeter Strollers, recently made his debut in a 1-0 win against Wales.
On his call-up, he said: "It was terrific. I received the news from the manager after the trial that I'd been selected and it was unbelievable".
