Lorry fire leads to emergency response
A specialist environmental unit from Newton Abbot's been called in to help with a large amount of diesel that's leaked from a lorry at Marine Drive at Bigbury on Sea this lunchtime, following a fire.
Fire crews from Modbury and Kingston put out the blaze - which was caused accidentally - and cause by a mobile transformer unit.
Police closed a nearby car park because of the amount of smoke the fire generated. Western Power attended because of concerns about electricity.
