The company which now owns Exeter airport has expanded its aviation business with the acquisition of a management firm which operates three other regional airports.
The deal puts Rigby Group in control of Blackpool, Derry and Coventry airports as well as Exeter.
Its aviation division bought out the previous owner Balfour Beatty last week - the same company also owned Regional and City Airport Management Ltd which operates the three other airports.
The company says it's committed to developing its aviation interests and wants to be a leading player in the regional sector.
