Appeal about woman attacked in spring
It's several months since a woman was attacked in Exeter, sustaining a minor head injury, but police are appalling for the person who saw the assault to come forward.
The witness came to the victim’s aid after seeing the woman in her late-20s hit in an alleyway near George’s Meeting House, in South Street, Exeter. The date is vague, being some time between Tuesday 25 April and Thursday 10 May. The time is more specific, being between 1pm and 4pm.
Police would like to speak with a woman described aged in her early 50s, of slim to medium build, with black hair with grey streaks.
A 27-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been released on bail.
