It's been announced that Exeter's Central Library will be closed for a month later this year.
Devon County Council is spending just over £4 million on a major refurbishment.
The work will take at least a year and during that time the library will have a temporary home in the current Westcountry Studies Library.
Work is due to start on construction in January 2013 and the library is scheduled to re-open early in 2014.
