David and Pauline Williams from Bradninch, denied 46 charges of sexual and physical abuse between 1989 and 2004.
The couple, who used to run the now-closed Victoria Pub in Exeter, became friends Fred and Rose Wests when they lived close to their home in Cromwell Street in Gloucester.
The judge at Exeter Crown Court told the pair to expect lengthy jail terms when they're sentenced next month.
