A local runner will lead the British challenge at the very first Olympic track final tonight.
Exeter Harrier Jo Pavey, who lives and trains in Tiverton, has qualified for the final of the 10,000 metres which starts just before 9.30 tonight.
38 year old Jo will also be competing in the 5,000 metres at the games.
Her best placed Olympic finish was 5th in the 5,000 metres at the 2004 Athens games
