The A377 was closed for six hours
An Exeter man has died following a crash in North Devon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a Volkswagen Amarok and a Volkswagen Polo on the A377 near Leigh Cross, Chumliegh at around 4.25pm on Saturday.
The driver of the VW Polo, a 32-year-old man, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
A man who was driving the VW Amarok was taken to hospital where his injuries are described as non life-threatening.
The A377 was closed for around six hours.
