Four people have been arrested in Exeter as part of a huge national police operation against people who view paedophile material on the Internet.
They were men aged 63, 48, 37 and 30 and all are suspected of possessing indecent images of children.
Across the force area a total of 29 people were arrested - seven of them not as part of the national operation.
A number of children have also been removed from situations where they might have been at risk of abuse.
