A local NHS service, which finds paid jobs for people with mental health problems, is being recognised as a leading light in the field.
Workways, based in Exeter, is being used as an example of how to put into practice the principle of 'individual placement and support'.
It helps each person find a suitable job and continues giving whatever advice and back-up they need afterwards.
It has secured employment for them with several local businesses including Exeter's new John Lewis store.
