Workways, based in Exeter, is being used as an example of how to put into practice the principle of 'individual placement and support'.
It helps each person find a suitable job and continues giving whatever advice and back-up they need afterwards.
It has secured employment for them with several local businesses including Exeter's new John Lewis store.
