The MP for Exeter has sprung to the defence of the BBC boss George Entwistle.
The Director General has resigned, over the heavily-criticised handling of two Newsnight programmes dealing with child abuse.
Ben Bradshaw is a former Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and still a member of that parliamentary committee.
He says Mr Entwhistle could not have been expected to know the content of all the BBC's programmes.... and that other staff should be taking their share of the blame.
