The Exeter MP has complained to the Speaker of the House of Commons about the behaviour of a Government health minister, who objected to his strong criticism of the handling of Devon's NHS.
Ben Bradshaw says he was confronted by minister Ben Gummer following a meeting to update MPs on the new regime being imposed on Devon's NHS to tackle its financial deficits.
He admits being "quite critical" of the lack of progress and the unsuitability of the person expected to lead the regime - but says Mr Gummer threatened to exclude him from future discussions and let his constituents suffer as a result.
In the Commons he said the response from Mr Gummer had been outrageous.
