An Exeter-based police officer has been charged with having indecent images and possessing ammunition without a firearms certificate.
34-year-old Jonathan Fulcher, who lives in Crediton, is due to appear before Exeter Magistrates' on Tuesday 4th April.
PC Fulcher was suspended from duty at the start of the investigation.
Internal disciplinary proceedings will start at the end of the criminal process.
