Police in Exeter are appealing for information after thieves made off with a stash of right-foot ladies' shoes.
The footwear was left overnight outside Shoezone on High Street on Monday.
The rack consisted entirely of right-footed ladies' shoes and children's snow boots.
Devon and Cornwall Police say the opportunist thief probably didn't realise they were not in pairs and are appealing for them to be returned.
