This Saturday's Exeter Pride event will be the biggest in its seven-year history.
The celebration of the local lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community has attracted National Lottery funding, enabling the organisers to put on a host of extra activities.
The event is supported by the police, fire service, local authorities and many high-profile local employers.
And if you'd like to get involved in Exeter Pride, a last-minute recruitment event for volunteers takes place this evening at St Sidwell's Church at 7pm.
