This week's news of Arts Council funding for Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum has been welcomed by the local councilor for city development.
The RAMM joined forces with the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery to make a joint bid for funding... and they've been granted more than three million pounds over the next three years.
The two museums say they'll collaborate to put Devon firmly on the nation's cultural map.
