A special event today will mark 75 years since Exeter was bombed in the Second World War.
Survivors of the Exeter Blitz of 1942 will today meet the Lord Mayor at the Guildhall to recall their memories of the single most destructive event to hit the city.
Many local people took refuge from the bombs in Exeter's Underground Passages, which is hosting a series of events next week as part of the anniversary.
