A school in Exeter has been awarded £5,000 for its work with disadvantaged pupils.
St James School in Summer Lane has been awarded the money from the Department for Education following successful key stage 4 results, which were published last week.
The school can now apply for another much bigger award of up to £250,000 to be given out next month.
