From midnight tonight (22 July), the City falls under a yellow warning for heavy rain.
The Met Office say that the bad weather is likely to continue through until Wednesday.
It comes on the same day it's expected the highest temperature of the year will be recorded.
With the Midlands and the south of England expected to bask in 33 degrees Celsius.
But violent thunderstorms are expected to bring an end to the heatwave from tomorrow.
