Small businesses with a social or environmental mission in Exeter are being invited to get on board a campaign to gain Social Enterprise City status.
It's being launched this afternoon by the Essence group of local social enterprises.
The status would give Exeter official recognition and could help attract further investment into that sector.
The launch event is being held at the legal firm Foot Anstey in Southernhay, from 4.00 till 6pm
