Work is to start immediately on removing overgrown weeds from roadsides in Exeter.
It follows a meeting between city and county councillors, where they agreed that the problem couldn't be allowed to continue.
Exeter's Conservative parliamentary candidate Dom Morris has been highly critical of the delay in tackling the weeds... and is now calling on the councils to give a clear timetable for their removal.
