Exmouth's Chamber of Commerce has agreed to fund a free day of parking in the town in an effort to entice Christmas shoppers.
Car parks will be free for two hour stays on Saturday 15th December, at a cost of £300 to the group.
Any businesses which join the scheme this month will have their subscriptions directly added to the pot.
