An Exmouth man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for grevious bodily harm, two counts of actual bodily harm and criminal damage.
Exeter Crown Court yesterday heard that on the 10th September last year, John Western stabbed another man 11 times and assaulted two others in the Bystock Road area of Exmouth.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the crimes had a "far reaching affect, not just on the victims, but also on those close to the family and wider members of the community".
