Smoke alarm woke family
A family of 8 have been taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after their Christmas tree caught fire.
2 fire crews from Paignton were called to Stansfield Avenue just after 6.30am this morning (Tuesday 4th December)
The family were woken by their smoke alarm and found the tree on fire in the lounge.
Fire investigators are still on the scene.
