A man's died in a house fire in East Devon.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service received a number of calls from members of the public about the blaze at the property on Howarth Close in Sidmouth.
Five fire engines, from Honiton, Seaton, Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth were sent to the scene. They recovered a man, who was confirmed dead at the scene.
The three storey building has been severely damaged
The fire is not thought to have been started deliberately.
