Two dogs also rescued
A pair of ferrets and a couple of dogs are safe after being rescued from a fire in central Exeter.
The animals are residents at a kennel in the back garden of a property in central Exeter.
Devon firefighters were called around 5.15 a.m. on Tuesday to reports of the blaze. Appliances from Middlemoor and Danes Castle, the central Exeter fire station, went to the undisclosed address and put the fire out.
The blaze was caused by a heat lamp.
