Emergency crews had to help rescue a horse stuck in a ditch in Whitestone near Exeter.
The animal needed to be sedated by a vet after getting its leg stuck in a five bar gate on the Tedburn Road.
The rescue team needed to use heavy lifting equipment to free the horse.
