Honiton's fire station has become the first in Devon to be equipped with oxygen masks for animals.
Its fire engines will now carry the masks which are specially designed to fit cats and dogs.
They've been paid for by the local Masonic Lodge and provided by the organisation Smokey Paws, which works to prevent pets being hurt or killed in fires.
