St Thomas tortoise thought to have been snatched
A search is on in St Thomas after a tortoise called Flash disppared from his home in Wardrew Road.
It's thought unlikely that the pet has done a runner from his garden hut - someone was seen acting suspiciously in the hours before Flash went missing.
Tortoises can sell for £100.
Flash is described as male, in his late 40s, and with a tiny chip on the top of his shell. His disappearance is a turtle disaster for the family, who've owned him for generations.
