It's to plan the town's response to future incidents of flooding.
It's been set up in conjunction with the Environment Agency and also involves the police, fire service, and the town and district councils.
It's hoped that local residents will help develop the flood plan, or become a flood volunteer.
The meeting will take place at the New Hall in Barrington Street from 6 till 7pm.
