An 8 year-old girl has been taken to Bristol Children's Hospital, after being hit by a car in the St Thomas area of Exeter yesterday evening [18 September]
Closures were put in place as emergency services attended Oxford Street just after 5.30pm, following the incident involving a Honda Jazz.
The girl sustained head and facial injuries not thought to be life-threatening and was taken to the RD&E Hospital in Exeter. She has since been transferred to Bristol Children's Hospital for further treatment.
Police say no arrests have been made.
