Local residents are being asked for their views on plans for Devon and Cornwall police to increase their use of Tasers.
They want to have more officers trained to use the electrical shock devices, to reduce the number of assaults on policemen and women.
People are being encouraged to contact the force, via their website, to give feedback on the proposal.
