Parking charges in Exeter could be frozen until April 2015. A report going before city councillors next week recommends no increase in parking tariffs, in view of the financial pressures on traders, residents and visitors.
The council is expected to make 5.66 million pounds from parking charges in the current financial year, and would set next year's budgeted income for the same level.
There could also be some special offers in the run-up to Christmas.
