Charities and community groups whose work focuses on reducing crime are invited to bid for grants of up 5-thousand pounds.
The money's been set aside by Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg to fund projects which help crime prevention, protect the vulnerable and keep communities safe.
The first 100-thousand pounds is expected to be granted in the first 12 months of the scheme which has a total of 200-thousand to award.
