Grecians reveal new home shirt

Latest kit sees a different take on stripes

Exeter City Football Club has launched its new look strip for the new season – featuring a new main club and front of shirt sponsor for the first time in 17 years.

The club announced a three-year partnership with new sponsor Carpetright, the UK’s leading flooring company, earlier this year and their logo adorns the front of the shirt.

And there is a new design for the shirt – the red and white stripes are still there, but with a different styling, featuring a solid red base with two half stripes and a black side panel. The shirt features white sleeves and a white collar with black and red detail and is paired with black shorts with white trim and black and white hooped socks.

Wilf Walsh, CEO Carpetright, said they were looking forward to seeing the teams run out in the new strips when the season begins on September 12. He says: "It’s great to see our logo featured on the Exeter FC kit and we hope the fans like the new shirt. We’re looking forward to seeing both the men’s and women’s teams in action this season."

The Grecians will continue on the road with the current yellow and purple kit, and the striking black third kit will remain, both with the new Carpetright sponsor. These can also be purchased at: shop.exetercityfc.co.uk.
