Safety concerns over high-speed trains
"Do not attempt to travel."
That's the message from GWR following safety concerns about their high speed Hitachi engines.
Many services were cancelled on Saturday following cracks appearing in some of the trains. Precautionary safety checks will continue on Sunday, leading to disruption that will continue into next week.
GWR says new timetables are being worked on and will be published as soon as possible.
It affects services out of London Paddington and through to Penzance via Exeter St David's.
Local services are still running, but GWR expects them to be very busy and rail replacement services are extremely limited.
They say: "Customers are advised not to travel on Sunday 9 May and refunds will be provided. You can find out more about claiming a refund or rebooking your journey.
The problem continues to be investigated by Hitachi and once trains have been checked and cleared, we hope to be able to release them back into service as soon as possible."
