An organisation offering help and support to young people in Devon says the demand is higher than ever.
Young Devon offers training in personal development and employability in locations including Exeter, along with crisis support and help with housing.
It also runs the confidential Youth Enquiry Service which has a branch in Exeter.
Chief executive Tim Todd says the tough economic climate has led to more people needing its services - and fewer resources with which to help them.
