The first big high-tech company has moved into Exeter's Science Park, in a landmark stage for the development.
The Blur group is making Exeter its global headquarters and aims to recruit a hundred staff next year, in addition to the 40 who've relocated.
Its founder and chief executive Philip Letts says some of the main factors that attracted him to the area are the Science Park and its transport infrastructure, Exeter University, and the massive support for businesses from local authorities.
But he says the proximity to the coast was also important, as it's good for employees who spend their working life sitting at computers to visit the sea in their free time.
