A Honiton man who stabbed another man to death last year has been detained in hospital under the Mental Health Act.
55 year old Keith Beviss of Woodhayes Drive had pleaded guilty to manslaughter on account of diminished responsibility.
He killed Philip Ryan at Honiton's Jehovah's Witnesses hall in June.
The court heard that his mental state at the time played a substantial part in incident and the judge issued a hospital order as an alternative to prison.
